In 1974, Quebec entrepreneurs Pierre LeBlanc and Lise Giguère moved to Toronto to launch FACES and at the same time, invented a new marketing technique. Their main objective being to offer quality makeup products at competitive prices as well a wide variety of colors, FACES developed several concepts that reworked the production phases. Their slogan was “A beautiful new way to purchase makeup” and still holds true today.
